France has been grappling with a surge of foreign unaccompanied minors. Just this past year, the number of undocumented minors known to child services has nearly doubled. And as the French government struggles to adequately process this growing number, many of the youngsters have found themselves homeless. In response, dozens of French non-profits have launched citizen housing initiatives.
