The competition invites participants to "tell the story of the city in images, showing itself through its many religious expressions, as a result of migration." "Alongside places of worship and historically traditional religious demonstrations, today we recognise places of prayer, expressions of faith and numerous and diverse religious cultures, which contribute to reshaping the face of the city," a statement announcing the contest said. In its debut edition, the competition aims to gather unpublished photos taken by foreigners in Italy. The contestants must be amateur photographers and at least 18 years old. There are no charges for entering the competition and every participant can send up to a maximum of three photographs. The last date for sending entries is April 30. A jury composed of professional photographers will judge the photographs and the best ten pictures will receive a prize. The awards ceremony will take place on June 4, the Catholic Church holiday of Pentecost, during the Milan Archiocese's festival in celebration of diversity, "Festa delle Genti".(ANSAmed).
