At least 70 migrants were able to cross the fenced border surrounding Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta, which was stormed at dawn Tuesday by a total of over 200 people.

Over 500 migrants were pulled to safety Tuesday by rescue NGO organizations and eight migrants have been found dead. At least 2,385 migrants have been rescued this year according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
