According to Germany's federal criminal police, the share of immigrants among all criminal suspects has declined for the third year in a row. However, there are major differences between nationalities.

A German nun, accused of abetting illegal immigration and fined for granting church asylum to two Nigerian women last year, has been acquitted by a district court.

Serbian police said they have found a cache of weapons and detained 85 migrants near the country’s northern border with Hungary. The raids took place on Thursday, July 14.

Italian immigration offices were left without lingusitic mediators to assist migrants, due to the expiry of some working agreements. The Interior Ministry has promised the problem would be solved and contracts renewed.
