Refugee numbers in Serbia up 55% on 2021
The Serbian authorities reported in late June that there were just over 7,000 refugees in the country, a 55% increase over the same period of the previous year, mostly due to the war in Ukraine.

Months-long sit-in outside UNHCR Tunis ends

Nearly 950 undocumented Tunisian migrants, including 354 minors, arrived in Italy in the month of May, reports an NGO in Tunisia. That's an increase of more than 50% on last year's numbers.
Tunisian coast guard recovers four bodies
In the last few days, Tunisian authorities have recovered the bodies of at least 16 migrants. On Monday, the coast guard said it had retrieved the bodies of four migrants.
