Authorities in North Macedonia have discovered 42 migrants packed to the back of a truck. It appeared that they were part of a group of largely Syrian nationals due to be sent back to Greece.

More than 170 asylum seekers have been evacuated from Libya to Niger with the help of the UNHCR. This marks the first such repatriation flight from the war-torn country in over a year.
